This slight augmentation was largely driven by the resumption of work in office, increased in business activities and multiple renovation works. Through our energy-efficient enhancement efforts since 2021, we were able to achieve a 23% reduction of overall Kenanga Tower’s electricity consumption in 2023 compared to the baseline year – the average of 2018 and 2019 electricity consumption. This anomaly in comparison is attributed to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly affected energy usage patterns and consumption in office buildings during those years.
