RM1.5 billion Sukuk Programme by Sarawak Energy Berhad Oversubscibed by 1.53 Times
We are pleased to announce that Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) has successfully made another issuance of RM1.5 billion in nominal value of Sukuk Musyarakah on Monday under its RM15 billion Sukuk Musyarakah Programme (Sukuk Programme).
Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB) played an active role in the book-building process and contributed significantly to the 1.53 times oversubscription of the issuance.
RAM Rating Services Berhad has recently upgraded the AA outlook for the Sukuk Programme from ‘stable’ to ‘positive’ due to the strong uptrend in SEB’s electricity sales.
This issuance comprises two (2) trances as shown below:
